The Web- Geographical Information System (Web-GIS) is a web-based custom built application, designed to view the network and road assets help with the database in a map-based platform. This application is based on ArcGIS Server platform to enable all the engineers within OWD and others using an internet browser.

This application is integrated with all the applications and database of Bentley Systems to work seamlessly. It has the facility to view roads in a GIS interface, select / search and extract inventory and inspection data of roads, culvert and bridges of entire road network of Odisha in pre-defined formats.

The GIS representation of road network, culverts, and bridges can be overlaid on a back-drop of on-line satellite image, topographic maps and information. The application has facility to add other GIS layers for view and overlay.

Road Information System (RIS) is the principal module of O-RAMS. It consists of web-based applications designed to input / upload, store, edit, update, view, download the road network and asset data such as Carriageway, Shoulders, Pavement Composition, Pavement Condition, Roughness etc. It also manage Users of the system, their roles and jurisdiction access.

Various modules such as Network Manager, Asset Manager, Schemes Manager are bundled together in Bentley System's Exor Application Suite . They are configured to OWD requirements.

One of the most important module of Exor Spatial Manager (SM) is an ArcGIS based tool used to create, edit and view spatial network and asset data. The GIS based spatial data can be managed using this module. Various network editing functions such as merging, splitting etc. can be performed using using various tools in-built within it. The non-spatial data held within the database is linked seamlessly to the spatial data and therefore changes made are reflected without creating any duplicity or redundancy.

The Information Manager (IM) is a web-based portal to generate interactive tables, charts, graphs for presentation. Users can add pre-defined reports, charts available as per their requirement.

Bridge Information System (BIS) is a web-based application, designed to input / upload, store, edit, update, view, download the bridge inventory, inspection data, photographs of bridges, documents referenced over the road network.

This application is one of the functional module within Bentley System's Exor Application Suite called as Structures Manager. They are configured to OWD requirements.The information on Structures can be viewed in Information Manager

Pavement Management System (PMS) consists of tools to ascertain maintenance requirements for OWD road network. The Highway Development and Management Tool (HDM-4) software is used to predict road condition and suggest treatments by a life-cycle costing method using analytical engine for different years. HDM-4 is a popular tool used world-wide for maintenance planning, economic analysis and prioritisation. However, this software package is a stand-alone desktop tool.

To supply data to HDM-4 software, the data held within road database such as road inventory, composition, pavement inspection, roughness, structural strength and traffic are converted to a format acceptable by HDM-4 software using Transportation Intelligence Gateway (TIG) module; a Web-based tool of Bentley Systems. This software is configured to extract data from the database, prepare homogenous sections based on user defined parameters, and transform the data to representative values in the format acceptable to perform programme and strategy analysis using HDM-4.

The strategy and programme analysis is performed using HDM-4 software by using data extracted from database and configuring maintenance strategy, vehicle fleet and economic parameters. The software then determines the road maintenance and improvement requirements for specific roads and for the overall network, and a suggested budget to maintain it efficiently and cost-effectively.

The suggested maintenance alternatives are then extracted from HDM-4 and loaded using Exor CSV loaders. The Information Manager can then be used for reporting.

Routine Maintenance Management System (RMMS) is a web-based custom built application, designed to determine on-carriageway routine maintenance requirements for sections not receiving any improvements for a year and prepare routine maintenance budget required for a section, division or a circle. Routine maintenance is an un-planned activity which is carried out every year based on fund allocated.

Therefore this module is envisage to provide a tool to ascertain the routine maintenance budget for a division. It has facilities to define the quantity standards, maintenance treatments, unit costs and maintenance standards. The system then automatically assigns treatment to sections and determines the treatment cost for the sections and prepare reports.

The Traffic Information System (TIS) is a web-GIS-based custom built application, designed to input, store, manage, analyse and report traffic volume and axle-load data.

It has facilities to conduct truth-in checks by comparing previous year data and validate records. Further, an ArcGIS Server based interface is in-built to the module to assign traffic to sections and estimate AADT. It can then export sections with traffic details for use in other modules of O-RAMS such as RIS, PMS etc.
